YouTube, more than just the best thing since electricity.

Can the media alter your view of the people around you? Let's play a game. Push play on one of the videos below. Close your eyes. With your eyes closed, see if YOU can correctly guess the RACE of the singer/band. Is what you HEAR, what you SEE in your head? Once you've watched both videos, look below for the answers. Dude, I'm not racist, I gotta Black friend and a Mexican one too.

The first video featured none other than Bobby Caldwell, a White man. The second video featured Thin Lizzy, fronted by Philip Lynott, an Irish Black man. A White man with soul and a black man rockin out? That sounds as crazy as government officials gaining access to private bank records without permission, believing that there are still WMDs in Iraq, Kevin Federline protesting to "save the penny" from destruction, and the destruction of people occuring right before our eyes.

just tryin to point out the fallacies in our preconceived notions. chuck berry, lil richard all get their props here.....however, ask your average rock fan sbout the roots of rock and tell me who they cite......damn....i'm givin credit to the original black hard rocker phil lynott....iron maiden owes a lot of riffs to thin lizzy.

thanks for droppin by, peace....

it's funny how some people don't approach race in an objective manner.More times than others, they react without thinking.
It's crazy how all of us have preconceived ideas but yet we don't want to admit it to ourselves.
I'm a black man myself,and I don't want to labeled,that's it...
Look at Axelrod,a white man who rocked it like no one ever did,Jimi who did the Star Spangled Banner on his electric guitar.
I,too,still fuck wit u Vik....hahaha
